2 February - Snow and lightning

Like many others, I've enjoyed the day off work due to the heavy snow. In Kent, there was even some lightning too! Have you made a snowman yet?

3 February - Stair race

I was amazed that 300 people ran up the 1576 stairs of the Empire State Building in New York, just for fun today! At the end of this yearly event they found the amazing city views were hidden by a snow storm.

4 February - J K Rowling honoured

Bravo J K Rowling! She's the second member of her family to be given the French award of Knight of the Legion of Honour for her Harry Potter books. She even managed to say sorry in French for using a French name for her villain, Voldemort.

5 February - 771 driving tests

I’m amazed at a determined grandmother of 68 who's failed her driving test for the 771st time. This woman from Korea has taken the written test nearly every day since April 2005! How well do you know your road signs?

6 February - Snow on

The UK is still suffering from the snow and we’re expecting more this weekend! Many people have photographed the effects of the snow, just in case they forget!

8 February - British Film Awards

Thankfully the bad weather hasn’t stopped all the film stars walking down the red carpet. It's BAFTA time (British Academy of Film and Television Arts Awards). I’m not sure if the dresses or the awards are more important!
