3 March - Rocket science

I'd like to go to the Moon, but I'm not sure about Mars. It takes such a long time to get there! Rachel, however, is more adventurous. She says she'd be first on the rocket to the Red Planet.

4 March - Cricket attack

I'm shocked at the attack on cricketers in Pakistan (map). I don't think sport and politics should be mixed. The Sri Lankan team were there to play sport, not make a statement!

4 March - Bionic eye

I find it hard to imagine what life without my sight would be like. That's what makes this bionic eye such an amazing piece of technology. It made me realise the human body really is a wonderful thing.

5 March - Open book

If I did make that trip to Mars, I'd need a massive pile of books. It's World Book Day and I'm popping into my local library on the way home. It's a real treasure trove.

6 March - Bee's knees

One of the themes of National Science and Engineering Week is saving our bees. Not only do I like honey on my toast, I like to see these bright and buzzy insects in the garden.
