11 May - Zoom lens

These images from the Hubble telescope are simply amazing. I didn't think space was so beautiful! If I ever go to space, I'll remember to take my camera.

12 May - International Nursing Day

If you've ever been to hospital, you'll know what a great job nurses do. It's a good day to celebrate the work of these modern-day Florence (and Freddie!) Nightingales.

Aisha said the world would be a sadder place without its coral reefs. It's true. These special places need preserving or they will disappear forever...

14 May - Sun sense

Sportspeople need to be sun smart. They spend a lot of their time outdoors, so they're at risk. Mum said the UK has more skin cancers than Australia! This is because in Australia school children are taught to slip (on a T-shirt), slap (on some sun cream), and slop (on a hat) to protect themselves.

17 May - Eurovision stars

Rachel and Hannah came round to watch the Eurovision Song Contest last night. Norway won with a very catchy tune. We all agreed that the British entrant Jade sang nicely and looked like a real star.
