17 November - No emails please

Barack Obama seems to be a big fan of email, so I wonder how he'll cope without it? I guess it'll be one of many changes he'll have to get used to when he becomes president. I love the internet, but I don't need to take it everywhere with me!

18 November - Arrr!

Pirates are still on a boat off the coast of Kenya (map). There's a lot of oil on board that's worth millions of pounds. I hope no-one gets hurt. It's not often we hear about modern-day pirates.

19 November - Nature calling

Today is world toilet day. It may sound a bit silly, but it's got an important message. Over 2 billion people in the world don't have a toilet! It's harder to put toilets in some locations, like mountains. VJ tells me he often gets bright ideas when he's sitting on the toilet.

20 November - What is human nature?

It's world philosophy day. Makes you think.

21 November – Exam history

Pupils are taking the last ever 11-plus exam in Northern Ireland today. The exam has been around for years. Rachel says it's a piece of history. If you're taking exams today, I hope you have time to get some fresh air before the wintry weather comes.
