26 May - Cheese chasing

This bank holiday tradition of cheese rolling looks risky to me. My Mum never let us run down hills. She said it was sure to end in a trip to hospital with broken bones!

27 May - Shape shifting

These wind turbines are a great idea. I wouldn't mind a mini version in my back garden. Some people think they look ugly, but I don't. Green energy design is often very futuristic.

28 May - Sunny Shavuot

Jews are celebrating the spring harvest. I am enjoying the wonderful weather (wearing sun cream, of course). Hannah and I are real summer fruit fans. We can't wait for the arrival of peaches!

28 May - Monster ship

It's amazing what can be found under the sea. It's not all historic shipwrecks and lost treasure either. Top technology is helping us discover more about our blue planet.

29 May - Spell checkers

Dan informed me that a spelling bee was a competition - not a really clever bumble bee! Big in the USA, Britain's first national spelling bee is going to be held in June. How's your spelling?

31 May - Clocking on

One of Britain's most famous landmarks, Big Ben is 150 years old today. I can't imagine London without it. It would be like Paris without the Eiffel Tower!
